Scout Programs

Boy and Girl Scouts of America

Each scout group's experience is unique and different!

Our scouting programs include:
  • Day programs for scout groups
  • Overnight or multi-day camping trips
  • On-site activities (we will come to you with portable activities)
  • Off-site climbing

Our professional facilitators work with your scout troop prior to the day of your visit to identify group goals, expectations, and the student-body’s level of comfort with the challenges of team building. The information provided is used to customize an experience to meet the individual needs of your group. Whether it’s communication skills, trust, confidence, conflict management skills, or a team you want to build, we can facilitate that process!

Team Building

Team building in essence is building a team. But how does that happen? That is a very hard question to answer. Here at Genesee Valley we can answer that question with actions. Our highly skilled and acclaimed facilitators will use every tool in our arsenal to make your goals a reality.

Genesee Valley facilitators are guides to the potential of any group of people to realize their abilities to work well with each other. Using all of our 350 acres and using our more than 100 low elements and 52 high elements, we can provide the best opportunity for your groups success on the East Coast.

Climbing Merit Badge

We have staff certified by both the BSA and GSA to oversee and certify the climbing merit badges. Please make sure to request this service when scheduling.

Orienteering

Genesee Valley has several orienteering courses throughout our 350-acre property. We would be happy to incorporate this into your program.

Camping

Genesee Valley has several camping sites to suit your troop's needs. We have 3 sites that are very close to bathrooms with running water. are lit at night and close to indoor alternatives. These campsites offer a firepit with lots of wood, a grill, picnic tables and we offer tents. We also have 4 sites that are off the beaten path, far away from roads and the noises of traffic. These campsites are a hike to get to, but the peace and quite are worth it. These campsites are within a short walking distance to a bathroom that does not have running water. The campsites have a fire ring, picnic tables and a grill can be provided at your request.

Custom Designed Programs

If you have in mind a certain activity that's not listed please call our office. We can research and accommodate almost any request. You'll never know if we can or cannot unless you ask!

For scout groups that do not wish to prepare their own food, we offer full service catering options. If you are interested please call the office.
