Corporate Program Overview
Our adult programs are available to corporate groups, college groups, non-profit organizations,
and community groups.
Some options we offer include:
- Half or full day programs
- On-site programs (we will come to your office or organization)
- Winter indoor programs
- The Competition Leadership Program
- Off-site climbing or other customized adventures (canoeing, white water rafting, etc.)
Whether you are looking to improve communication skills, foster team-building, encourage creative problem
solving, or just have a great day out of the office, Genesee Valley can create a program specifically
tailored for your organization.
Genesee Valley provides the setting and events that can elicit fresh behaviors and new insights in
participants. By taking risks, participants gain new personal and interpersonal skills and insights.
Some common goals of our program are:
- to identify skills, strengths, and values as they relate to professional development
- to foster personal responsibility
- to build positive group interaction
- to build appreciation for differences within the group
- to foster confidence in coping with situations that, like many situations in life, are challenging
- to enhance problem-solving and goal-setting skills
- to explore ways to meet other specific challenges brought to the program by the group
Full or half day program
Your organization will be presented with a carefully sequenced progression of group trust and
problem-solving challenges in an atmosphere of safety, trust and fun. Together group members
stretch beyond perceived limits, enhancing skills of communication, effective problem-solving,
leadership and confidence. We implement several initiatives and elements to help your organization
reach its goals.
Competition Leadership Program
Using the basis for effective problem-solving, trust and leadership, this program combines
all of these and adds an element of competition. Your organization will be split into teams and by
completing teamwork related obstacles teams advance onto the next challenge. Teams are competing with
other teams in the organization. This program is limited to 40 people within an organization (10 people
per team, four teams.)
