Programs

Our programs are designed to create scenarios and present challenges that help participants learn valuable life skills. By engaging in these activities, participants are creating an opportunity to discover and build the basic skills necessary for success in life. We are able to facilitate these programs on our property as well as coming to the participants' site. SOme of those basic skills briefly include, Communication, Teamwork, Healthy Risk Taking, Positive Self-Esteem, Leadership, Problem Solving, Transference etc. Most of the activities can me modified to incorporate other life skills as well. We strongly believe that learning by experiencing is an extremely effective educational method. Our years of experience and personal observation have reinforced that belief. However, it is really the reports from and about our participants that tell us that it is working so well. We are more than happy to share our evaluations with anyone interested! The programs can be tailored to your specific needs and goals. Our highly individualized programs may include any or all of the following activities.

Initiatives

These are physical and mental challenges that encourage cooperation, communication, problem solving resolution and lead to mutual support and trust within the group.

Low Challenges

We have over 50! Our low elements require the participation of all team members working together to accomplish a common goal. These activities involve perceived risk and challenges that may include props such as wooden platforms, boards, ropes or wires.

High Challenges

We have over 30 High elements! These high elements are designed to provide a more individual challenge and to build self confidence while still relying on the group support system. These activities often involve climbing climbing and some of them can be 20 to 40 ft off o the ground! A belay (safety) system is used with each challenge.

Debriefing

In the end we need to translate all that was accomplished. In the debrief, groups will discuss their experiences and how they can be transferred to the "real world." Debriefing can be done at various times throughout the program and solidify the effectiveness of ones experience.
