Ages 4 to 6

Genesee Valley's Day Camps are tailored to your child’s age, with small groups of no more than 12 children per one highly trained counselor. Activities are both fun and adventurous and provide campers with memories that will last a lifetime.

Lil' Sprouts Camp is a shortened-day, week-long day camp that offers our youngest campers the opportunity to explore and learn in a fun and hands-on way.

Our camps utilize Genesee Valley's 300-acre facility for adventure and exploration, and include the following activities for Lil' Sprouts:

· Exploring nature
· Arts and crafts
· Water play
· Farm fun
· Playing outdoor games and activities
· Time with the horses

*All campers must be potty trained*

Due to the popularity of last summer’s Lil’ Sprouts camps, we will be offering 8 weeks of Sprouts this year! We’re dividing the summer into 2 sessions, with a theme for each week (check back soon to see the themes). Please register for each theme only once, for a maximum of 4 weeks per camper.

Week 2: June 18 – June 22 [Theme A  "Pirates & Mermaids"] 
Week 3: June 25 – June 29 [Theme B  "Rain Forest"]
Week 4: July 2 – July 6 (no camp on July 4) [Theme C "Explorers"]
Week 5: July 9 – July 13 [Theme D "Enchanted Valley"]

Week 7: July 23 – July 27 [Theme A  "Pirates & Mermaids"]
Week 8: July 30 – Aug 3 [Theme B  "Rain Forest"]
Week 9: Aug 6 – Aug 10 [Theme C "Explorers"]
Week 10: Aug 13 – Aug 17 [Theme D "Enchanted Valley"]

Lil' Sprouts Camp Hours

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Drop-off 8:30 am - 9:00 am
Pick-up 2:00 pm

Cost: $225.00/week

We offer extended hours (2:00pm – 4:30pm) and discounts!  For information, please visit our "Rates and Discounts" page. Transportation is not available for Lil’ Sprouts Camp.

Themes:

Theme A: Pirates and Mermaids

Aaargh Matey! Lil' Sprouts will become pirates navigating the open sea. We will dodge mythical sea creatures, brave monstrous waves, and sail through treacherous storms while following our treasure map to where "x" marks the spot. Sprouts will transform their classroom into an underwater grotto, playing games among the fish and dancing under the bubbles.

Theme B: Rain Forest

What plants grow here? What dangerous animals are lurking behind the trees and under rocks? Why is it called the rain forest? Sprouts will become the bugs, butterflies, frogs and monkeys of the rain forest, and discover the answers to these questions and more. Then, we will create a rain forest of our own, with our own Sprouts rain storm.

Theme C: Explorers

The sprouts will transform into the, "Great Genesee Explorers," venturing into far-away lands where prehistoric creatures and rare animals are waiting to be discovered. We will pack our backpacks with everything we will need during our adventures. Our final day will be spent on the moon after our space rocket is forced to make an emergency landing during our space exploration mission. We will hunt for the tools we will need to fix our rocket ship, so that we can travel back to earth safely!

Theme D: Enchanted Valley

Did you know that there is a whole enchanted world full of dragons, fairies, princes, and princesses at Genesee Valley? Sprouts will be a part of this land as Magical creatures, exploring the enchanted woods and surrounding trails of the Valley. We may even run into some wizards or leprechauns on our travels!
 

Lil' Sprouts Supply Request:

We will gratefully accept any donations of the following items:

1. Old sheets or pillow cases
2. Cardboard toilet paper or paper towel rolls
3. Empty tissue boxes
4. Tissue paper
5. Cardboard boxes
6. Popsicle sticks
7. Old books, toys, or games
8. Empty coffee canisters
9. General arts and crafts supplies
