Day of Giving

Sunday November 2, 2008

10am - 4pm

Genesee Valley's fourth Day of Giving is Sunday November 2nd, 2008! Please join our staff, family, friends and community members for a rewarding day of volunteer projects that help to maintain and beautify this wonderful place. Volunteers can choose from a variety of projects including painting, planting and trail building.

Aside from being a great way to show your support for Genesee Valley, Day of Giving is a great opportunity to re-visit old friends and meet some new one too. This is a perfect opportunity for volunteers to earn community service hours as well. Lunch will be provided, as well as child care for those of us with little ones. Afterwards, the climbing barn and zip lines will be going for you to enjoy and cap off a fun and invigorating day!

Day of Giving volunteers have made great contributions to Genesee Valley in the past few years. We have painted murals for the kids to enjoy, planted trees and flowers that have grown up beautifully and built and maintained pathways/trails so that our ropes courses are easy to get to and enjoy.

In addition to volunteer work, the Day of Giving will serve as an open house event. We will have information and people to talk to about our daily programs, employment opportunities and summer camp! Please come out, visit us and we would be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks and we hope to see you all there!
